We offer spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families on behalf of their pastor. When we visit the sick, it helps create a more unified and compassionate church community. This shared responsibility for pastoral care strengthens the bonds between church members and pastors, fostering a genuine sense of love and support between the leadership and membership.

We are here to help with issues including:

• Grief/bereavement/loss issues

• Emotional distress, anxiety or discomfort

• Coping with a new diagnosis of serious illness

• Feelings of isolation with no nearby family and friends

• A desire for prayer, blessing or other comfort from a familiar tradition

We fulfill this ministry by offering a listening ear, prayer, and encouragement, while also respecting the patient’s privacy and the hospital’s procedures. 

We can also offer services to anyone who considers themselves atheist, agnostic or generally spiritual in some way.
