Visitations

On behalf of your pastor, we will offer encouragement, assistance, and kindness through visitation, to those who have become ill, physically incapacitated, or have lost a close family member. We do timely visits to homebound and nursing homebound at the various residential nursing sites in our area as well as in-home visits.
We focus on prayer while visiting and tending to the needs of the sick and their families. This compassion plays a major role in showing the love of God through His people.

Pastoral Hospital Visitation
We offer spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families on behalf of their pastor. When we visit the sick, it helps create a more unified and compassionate church community. This shared responsibility for pastoral care strengthens the bonds between church members and pastors, fostering a genuine sense of love and support between the leadership and membership.
We are here to help with issues including:
Grief/bereavement/loss issues
Emotional distress, anxiety or discomfort
Coping with a new diagnosis of serious illness
Feelings of isolation with no nearby family and friends
A desire for prayer, blessing or other comfort from a familiar tradition
We fulfill this ministry by offering a listening ear, prayer, and encouragement, while also respecting the patient’s privacy and the hospital’s procedures.
We can also offer services to anyone who considers themselves atheist, agnostic or generally spiritual in some way.
